Blue Orbit Size 6 Vintage Kingman Ring

Okay, this one is cool as hell. The silversmith took two completely different Kingman shapes, set them on opposite ends of the ring, and then built this sweeping silver architecture through the middle that makes the whole thing feel like it’s moving. The upper stone is a long clean oval; the lower is broad and almost triangular. Both have that saturated, nearly matrix-free Kingman blue, and the mismatch is exactly what makes the composition work. Twisted wire traces the stones, little silver drops punctuate the center, and those curved silver ribbons sweep between them like an orbit. Why This Piece Matters Vintage two-stone rings aren’t unusual. This construction is. Instead of simply stacking two stones, the maker used the silver itself to create the composition.
