THE BODY BEYOND by Matthew Stone

道徳的、衛生的に平和な環境が保たれ、人々が裸で暮らしているとされるヌーディストコロニー。そこで育まれる尊い感覚をインスピレーション源に、2012年春夏コレクションを創り上げた「YUIMA NAKAZATO」デザイナーの中里唯馬が、ロンドン在住のアーティスト兼フォトグラファー、マシュー・ストーン（Matthew Stone）とコラボレートし制作された作品集。単にヌーディストコロニーを視覚化するだけでなく、マシュー独特の感性と視点により、人体の動きが奏でる自然美もが繊細に表現されている。本書はマシューにとって初の写真作品集となる。 Fashion designer Yuima Nakazato has collaborated with artist Matthew Stone to create The Body Beyond a limited edition art-book of new photographs. Perfectly matching Nakazato's personal inspiration of imagined and utopian nudist colonies with Stone's history of nude photography, The Body Beyond represents a new and inspired way to present the designer's vision and his 2012 S/S collection. The New York Times recently said that Matthew Stone's work "suggests that what the world needs now is not political agitation but a new, mystically inspired choreography of how to be human." The Body Beyond will be Matthew Stone's first published collection of photographs.
