Easier Chrysler GPEC2 Programming When reading or writing Chrysler GPEC2 ECMs, the MP001 does not require a 120Ω resistor between the CAN High and CAN Low wires. This simplifies the setup compared to the older P003/P003+ adapters. Required for Certain Airbag ECU Programming When using the OBDSTAR P50 to write data to supported RH850 airbag controllers such as: R7F7016863 R7F7016843 R7F7016443 R7F701330A the MP001 programmer is required.
