Senior's Pottery workshop: Make a Vase

Date: July 22, 2026 Duration: 3 Hours Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM Senior Price: $34.95 + HST Regular Price: $89.95 + HST Instructor: Katie Argyle Create a Handmade Vase Designed with seniors in mind, this fun and beginner-friendly pottery workshop will introduce you to a variety of hand-building techniques as you create your own beautiful ceramic vase. Shape your vase to suit your style and personalize it with textures, patterns, colours, or hand-drawn designs to create a piece that is uniquely yours. Whether used to display fresh flowers, dried arrangements, or simply as a decorative accent, your handmade vase will be a timeless piece to enjoy in your home for years to come. After the workshop, we will apply a clear glaze and fire your creation in our kilns. Your finished piece will be ready for pickup approximately two weeks after the workshop. Please Note: This workshop is generously subsidized through the New Horizons for Seniors Program, allowing participants aged 55 and older to register at the reduced rate of $34.95 + HST. Participants under the age of 55 are welcome to join at the regular registration price of $89.95 + HST. Please bring a valid photo ID to confirm eligibility for the senior rate.
