EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) is a lightweight, shock-absorbing material also used in quality running footwear. It makes the Helsinki noticeably lighter underfoot than sandals with a standard PU sole. Are Helsinki sandals true to size? Yes, they run true to EU sizing. The elastic side straps adapt to foot width, so they fit well across a range of foot shapes.
