Darjeeling Turzum Basant Blossom First Flush Black Tea 2026

Crafted from the prized AV2 cultivar of Turzum Tea Estate, EX-09 Basant Blossom is a delicate first flush Darjeeling tea that reflects the freshness and floral elegance of the spring harvest. The leaves were carefully plucked on 26th March 2026 and produced the following day under precise artisanal supervision, with 62% withering over 14 hours, minimal fermentation of 10 minutes including rolling, and careful drying at 240°F for 20 minutes. The tea was hand sorted to preserve its refined character and visual appeal. The dry leaf is long, greenish-bright, and beautifully finished with chunky silvery tips. In the cup, it produces a light lemonish liquor with excellent brightness. The flavour is distinctly floral, graceful, and fresh, with a lingering mouthfeel that carries the delicate charm of Turzum’s spring bloom. The infused leaf appears greenish-bright and even, releasing a subtle floral note that confirms the tea’s elegant first flush profile.
