LILAC on Stained Glass Fingering - Indie-Dyed Yarn
Lilac is a lovely yarn with darker purple speckles. It's one of my core semi-solid colorways and matches so many different colorways. YARN BASE I dyed it on Stained Glass Fingering, which is a soft and squishy 2-ply yarn made of 80% superwash merino and 20% nylon. The thing that makes Stained Glass Fingering uniquely wonderful is that one ply is made of white wool while the other alternates between black and white, so when I dye the yarn, it looks like leaded stained glass. Each 100 gram skein has 400 yards. YARN FACTS Lilac on Stained Glass Fingering Garden Collection Semi-Solid Colorway with Speckles 400 yards / 3.5 oz / 2 plies 80% superwash merino / 20% nylon Care: Machine or hand wash cold and air dry. YARN PAIRINGS Lilac would look great with Monet's Cathedral, Monet's Water Lilies, Purple Delight, and Phantom of the Opera. It also looks great as a gradient set with Eggplant and Regal.
