Glenburn Moonshine Darjeeling
Drawing from the mist that rises off the River Rungeet in the month of March, this light tea is made from only the most tender shoots plucked from fields at the Glenburn Tea Estate, in the Darjeeling region of Northern India, that grow prized clonal bushes. The leaves remain intact even as they are processed and infused for the brew. This specialty tea is made in very small batches using only the most experienced tea pickers. It is manufactured with extreme care in a process similar to a white tea that preserves all its health giving properties. Though closest to a white tea, some oxidation classifies it as an oolong. The cup is a clear bright lemon in color, light and subtle on the palate with notes of honeysuckle, and citrus undertones.
