Plague Shard

This is a one of one and there are no plans to make more. This was a custom designed pedal for Carlos Calderon, the guitarist of the amazing Melodic Crust/Screamo band Lagrimas. This pedal is 2 in 1- the left side is my glass shard (modified "K" overdrive) Along with the plague- a dark voiced distortion that is designed with drop tuned metal players in mind. The Shard side is after the Plague, so that you can boost the volume of the Plague when both are on. They are usable independently as well, so the shard side works amazing if you need to have an overdrive that can tighten up a flubby/loose external distortion or fuzz, or drive an amp into distortion. The Shard side is also much brighter and cutting, so it can brighten up the plague side. The Plague was a circuit I stumbled upon when searching for a circuit that could match the sound and feel of the crust punk band, dystopia. It is very dark, meaning it is voiced with a hi cut. Saturation character wise, it has the tight gain of 90s metal distortion. The soft and hard clipping toggles are for the plague side, and set the response and character of the gain stages.
