SPECIAL Exclusively created for ARTS&SCIENCE by 1+0 (Ichi Tas Zero), this Stacking mug & saucer is designed and produced by ceramicist Kan Ito and handcrafted by skilled potters. Based on a size that sits comfortably in the hand and a clean form, a new mould was created, and the pieces are finished with a stackable design that nests neatly. The glaze is a honey ash glaze with a yellowish tone, suggesting a blend of Japanese and Western sensibilities. From mealtimes to moments in between, these are pieces you can naturally reach for. Each is marked on the underside with “1＋0”; the mug bears a stamped “key logo,” and the saucer is stamped “ARTS & SCIENCE.” 【1+0 (Ichi Tas Zero) 】1+0 (Ichi Tas Zero) is a product line launched in 2012 by ceramic artist Kan Ito, who serves as its designer.
