Through discussion, vocabulary, and story analysis, students will focus on making predictions and retelling major events from beginning to end. Learners will explore themes of resilience, love, and gratitude while recognizing that special moments can still happen even when plans do not go as expected. Students will also read Saturday Is Swimming Day by Hyewon Yum as a connected text, exploring how everyday routines and time spent with loved ones can become meaningful traditions.
