The one-piece maple neck features a substantial 1954 profile (a chunky, rounded shape that fills the hand comfortably) paired with a traditional 7.25 inch radius and 21 vintage-style frets. Small but significant details, such as the rolled fingerboard edges and the walnut "skunk stripe," ensure that the instrument feels like a well-preserved original from Fender’s first production year. The electronics and hardware are equally rooted in history, featuring a trio of specially voiced 1954 single-coil pickups designed to replicate the crystalline, airy chime of the early 50s. To maintain period accuracy, the guitar is fitted with white polystyrene control knobs and pickup covers, which have a distinctively rounded shape compared to modern versions. While it ships with a functional five-way selector switch for modern versatility, an optional three-way switch is included for those who prefer the original wiring configuration. There is a slight dink on the bottom corner of the guitar (pictured), but nothing that affects the playability.
