It'll run through the belt loops of your pants to provide a mounting surface for the matching Atom outer belt. This inner belt is not intended for standalone EDC/CCW use. The stiffener required to support a handgun is not integrated into this belt, allowing this inner belt to more effectively form to the contours of a human waist. Our design process was focused on creating the most comfortable, user-friendly, and cost-effective base for our Atom outer. The front is secured with a G-hook closure. It has two primary closure positions for rough sizing, and a webbing strap for fine adjustments. These G-hook closure loops are cut at an angle and composed of two layers of material, increasing the loop rigidity. This helps when donning or doffing the belt, especially when wearing armor or in the dark. Sizing The through-loop measurement is 33.5". This user would comfortably wear a size 3. When sizing for the Atom belt, measure your waist through the belt loops of pants you often wear.
