Untitled 604

This stylized duet of figures unfolds like a devotional pause—one breath carried on the flutist’s line, the other held in the companion’s clasped hands—binding sound and silence into a single, intimate ritual. Saturated vermilions, saffron yellows, and leafy greens glow against the velvety black of the faces, while crisp contours and patterned textiles create a rhythmic, almost musical cadence across the surface. The small parrots, perched as bright witnesses, echo the theme of echoing voices—nature repeating what the heart cannot fully speak—suggesting love as both ornament and vow. In this flattened, icon-like space, gesture becomes narrative: a celebration of tenderness, reverence, and the quiet authority of shared presence.
