CHARIOT by Maxime Testu

Against a dense moss-toned ground, this contemporary green figurative painting turns an ordinary bicycle into a spare, slightly uncanny image built from wavering black lines and softened wheels. Its familiar mechanics loosen into memory as the frame stretches, overlaps, and partially dissolves into layers of olive color. In a living room, study, or hallway, the piece introduces wit and visual tension through a subject that feels immediately recognizable but newly strange. Subtle shifts from deep vegetal tones to smoky translucence keep the background active, giving the bicycle the sense of surfacing through accumulated paint. A Design by Maxime Testu.
