Grown in the Penedès at vineyards planted in 1991, the 2024 vintage was shaped by moderate temperatures and cool day-to-night contrasts that helped preserve the grape’s natural freshness and aromatic intensity. The wine opens with inviting aromas of ripe pineapple, citrus, white peach and other white fruits, with a subtle mineral freshness. On the palate, it is round and voluptuous yet lively, with balanced acidity, a pleasingly textured mid-palate and a long, clean finish. The number comes from Jean Leon's taxi license in New York, one of the first jobs he held after arriving in America. His remarkable journey eventually took him to Hollywood, where he founded the legendary restaurant La Scala and later established his winery in Penedès.
