Mercer One-Arm Chaise

The lying-down end of a Mercer sectional. Built to order in America, the Mercer One-Arm Chaise by Stanley Furniture is the Mercer Chaise with one arm removed, so its open side joins a One-Arm Sofa, a Tux Corner Sofa or an armless run. It is 67 inches long, with a long seat cushion and a loose back cushion at the head, and the curved arm on the outside flows into the low back so the sectional ends in the same line it started with. Craftsman-built frame of kiln-dried hardwood, primarily solid alder, corner-blocked and reinforced with glue, staples and screws, so the curve stays true. Arched 8.5-gauge sinuous springs with double tie-wires deliver quiet, no-sag support in every seat. Seat and back cushions wrap a high-density foam core in a feather-locked envelope of Trillium gel-blown fiber: the softness of down, hypoallergenic and feather-free, so they soften in without going flat. Left or Right Arm Facing is named as you face the piece: Left Arm Facing puts the arm on your left and the open side on your right.
