Mahogany Console Table with Open Shelves

A substantial mahogany console table with long, architectural proportions and a restrained neoclassical influence. The warm, richly figured mahogany is carefully selected and arranged, with bookmatched and geometric grain patterns creating visual depth across the top, drawer fronts, and open shelves. Four drawers are fitted with simple round brass pulls, while the molded top is finished with a low gallery along the back and sides. The open framework is supported by six straight, subtly tapered legs, including a central pair that divides the table into two balanced sections. Two full-width lower shelves provide generous storage and display space while maintaining the console's light, open profile. Fine edge molding and the symmetrical construction give the piece a tailored, furniture-quality finish.
