Seventy years. One remarkable bottle. Cascahuín 55-25 is a one-off Añejo created to celebrate 70 years of the Rosales family making tequila at Destilería Cascahuín in El Arenal, Jalisco. Made from mature Blue Weber agave and slowly cooked in traditional masonry ovens, 90% of the tequila was matured in ex-Sherry casks, while the remaining 10% came from Cascahuín Plata 48 rested in American oak. The final blend was bottled at 44% ABV, with only around 7,300 bottles produced. Rich and silky, yet unmistakably Cascahuín: cooked agave and the distillery’s signature minerality sit beneath layers of stone fruit, dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla and warm Sherry notes. Rare, beautifully made and full of character. This is not a trophy bottle to leave sealed—it is 70 years of Cascahuín history made to be poured.
