MKAL 2026 Yarn Kit

PRE-ORDER YOUR YARN KIT WITH A 20% DISCOUNT FOR MKAL 2026 WITH SISU KNITWEAR. THE DISCOUNT HAS ALREADY BEEN DEDUCTED FROM THE PRICE. DARK DENIM AND THE OTHER COLOUR COMBINATIONS THAT ARE IN STOCK WILL BE SHIPPED ON 8 SEPTEMBER. Due to very high order volumes at both the wholesaler and the spinning mill, the other colour combinations are sold out and can no longer be ordered. The wholesaler and the spinning mill are working to make the yarn available sooner, but we have not yet received a confirmed delivery date. Existing orders for these colours are therefore expected to be shipped no earlier than the end of September. The yarn kit for MKAL 2026 includes all the yarn you need to knit the sweater. The kit does not include the pattern since this is a mystery knit along. The yarn will be sent to you by post. Join the MKAL in your language here. This year, we’ll cast on a soft sweater with a round yoke and a gently flared A-line body. The construction is yours to choose. Knit it top down or bottom up. Both paths lead to the same design. Last year, more than 1,000 knitters joined. This time, we aim higher. How it works The pattern unfolds in four parts. You’ll receive one piece each week. Just enough to keep you moving, not enough to reveal the whole. By week four, you’ll have everything you need to complete the sweater. There’s no deadline. No pressure. Just progress. The MKAL is online, but not solitary. You’ll get access to a dedicated Facebook group and a Ravelry group where knitters share their versions as they emerge. Colors, yarns, interpretations. Quietly different. All part of the same structure. After purchase, there’s nothing more to see. Not yet.
