Indonesia Flores Wet-Hulled

Some coffees carry their origin in every sip. Indonesia Flores Bajawa Ngura is built from the ground up — grown in the mineral-rich volcanic highlands of central Flores by small family farms that have been working this land for generations. The Bajawa highlands sit at the heart of Flores island, where volcanic soil runs deep and the growing traditions go even deeper. These are family plots, not industrial estates — passed down from parent to child along with the knowledge of how to tend them. That generational investment shows up in the cup. This coffee is processed using wet-hulling, the traditional Indonesian method known as giling basah. The parchment is stripped while the bean is still moist, then dried at that semi-wet stage. It is a process unique to this region of the world, and it produces the dense, full body and earthy depth that make Indonesian coffees unmistakable. What comes through in the cup: rich cocoa anchors the palate, with subtle citrus that keeps it lively and earthy undertones that run all the way through. Full-bodied and smooth — a coffee that holds nothing back.
