Pixfra Draco Binoculars NV 4K 850nm Thermal 25mm (Open Box)
Pixfra Draco D225-4K · 850 nm Find wildlife with thermal. Switch to 4K for a closer look. Thermal imaging, digital day and night vision, infrared illumination and a laser rangefinder in one pair of binoculars. The Draco D225-4K brings the tools for finding and observing wildlife into one handheld device. Two sensors. Two ways to observe. Scan for heat with the 256 × 192 thermal sensor and 25 mm lens. Then switch to the separate 4K digital channel to examine the visible scene. Picture-in-picture lets you combine the views. The D225’s ≤18 mK NETD sensitivity at f/1.0 helps distinguish small temperature differences. Its 850 nm illuminator adds infrared light for digital night viewing, with a stated range of 400 m. The 940 nm D225N is a separate version. The integrated laser rangefinder gives a distance reading without changing instruments, with stated accuracy of ±1 m. Thermal detection is separately rated to 1,300 m: detecting a heat source at a distance does not guarantee you can identify the animal. Set the view to suit your eyes. A body weighing no more than 610 g, with a central wheel and four buttons, keeps the viewing controls together. 1 Set the eyepiece spacing. Move the eyepieces to match your eyes. The interpupillary range is 60–74 mm, with foldable eyecups.2 Adjust the dioptres. Set the eyepieces for your eyesight before using the menus. Dioptre adjustment runs from −5 to +5 D.3 Focus on the subject. Both channels focus manually. Turn the focus control until the subject is clear, then use the wheel and buttons to adjust the view. Record what you find. Share the view. 64 GBbuilt-in storageKeep photos and video. Capture observations on the binoculars and review them in the local album. A built-in microphone lets video include sound.Dual-band2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-FiStream to your phone. Connect with the Pixfra Outdoor app to share the live view.EIS + defogimage adjustment toolsSteady and refine the image. Electronic image stabilisation compensates for hand movement. Defog can improve clarity in haze; weather still affects what you can see. Replaceable batteries. USB-C charging. 9 hours or moreRated operating time at 25 °C with Wi-Fi switched off. 2 × 18650Replaceable lithium batteries for normal operation. The Draco can also operate on a single battery. 5 V USB-CCharge through the device’s USB-C connection, including from a suitable power bank. Plan around your own conditions and settings. The published runtime is a test rating, not a guarantee for every outing. Good to know. 01 Check the close-focus distance. The thermal channel focuses from 3 m; the digital channel from 7 m. Allow that distance when observing nearby wildlife. 02 Digital zoom enlarges the image. Base magnification is 4.3× for thermal and 5.5× for digital viewing. Both add 1×–8× digital zoom, which enlarges the view without increasing the sensor’s resolution. 03 Built for outdoor conditions. The Draco is rated IP67, with an operating temperature range of −30 °C to +55 °C. 04 Protect the optics and your eyes. Never point the lenses at the sun or other bright sources. Do not look into the laser beam, including through other optical instruments. Read the Draco user manual for setup and care. PFI-D225-4K · 850 nm · 25 mm thermal Specifications.
