Overview The GIO 2-Year Extended Warranty adds an extra 2 years to the 1-year parts warranty that comes with every GIO mobility scooter, under the same terms and conditions. Choose the option that matches the scooter you are buying. Must be purchased within a week of the original purchase of the scooter to be valid. What is covered Part replacement for part failures, defects or manufacturing errors within coverage Batteries are protected against defects (batteries not maintained, stored or cared for as per the scooter's instructions are not considered defective) Warranty parts are shipped free of charge What is not covered Accidental damage, incorrect use, improper care or modification General wear and tear parts such as tires, brake cables and brake pads Labour, servicing or installation of replacement parts Warranties are non-transferable and void in the event of vehicle modification. Warranty claims Claims are handled by our Vancouver store. Contact us with your order number and a description of the issue, and we will take care of the claim for you.
