Grape Seed Oil, Cold Pressed - Organic

Description Grapeseed oil is pressed from the seeds of Vitis vinifera grapes, a by-product of winemaking and juice production. This organic, cold pressed oil is a handy everyday carrier oil for all makers. Its fatty acid profile is dominated by linoleic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid, with smaller amounts of oleic, palmitic and stearic acids. Cold pressing keeps naturally occurring compounds such as tocopherols in the oil, and it’s valued by formulators as a pale, mild-smelling base that blends easily with other oils, butters and essential oils. Use it on its own as a massage or body oil, or add it to the oil phase of creams and lotions, balms, hair oils and soap recipes. Our organic cold pressed grape seed oil is sourced from Italy, and is made from seeds left over from winemaking.
