Hermle Z216-2420S COMBI-Rotor for Microtubes and PCR Strips

The Hermle Z216-2420S COMBI-Rotor combines standard microcentrifuge tube and PCR strip capability in a single rotor. It accommodates 24 × 1.5/2.0 mL microcentrifuge tubes plus four 8-position PCR strips, providing up to 32 PCR positions. The 45° angle rotor reaches 15,000 rpm, producing up to 21,631 × g for microtubes and 13,582 × g for PCR strips. The rotor includes a Quick-Lock lid and is designed specifically for the Z216 centrifuge series. Hermle specifies acceleration values of 27/317 seconds, deceleration values of 20/185 seconds, maximum radii of 8.5 cm for tubes and 5.4 cm for strips, and a temperature of 11°C at maximum speed.
