Mercian Genesis CF5i Indoor Hockey Stick – Royal/Orange

◎ Controlled passing, lifting & ball control ▲ Softer ★ Low Not sure this is the right indoor stick for you? Get help choosing your stickGenesis CF5i — Low-bend shape with a Softer responseThe Genesis CF5i suits indoor players who want a softer, more forgiving response with Mercian's Low-bend shape. It is also the only current Mercian indoor stick offered below 36.5", so fit can make it the eligible choice before response or bend is considered. Why choose the CF5i?Choose the CF5i when controlled passing, lifting and secure ball control matter more to you than a firmer, more direct response. Its predominantly fibreglass construction with 5% carbon reinforcement keeps the feel softer while retaining a lightweight indoor profile. The carbon percentage explains part of the construction; it is not a quality or player-level score.Low bend / shapeThe current CF5i specification uses a 23.5 mm maximum bend at 230 mm from the head. That Low-bend shape supports indoor passing, lifting and drag-flick technique while remaining a distinct shape choice rather than a progression step.Softer responseThe CF5i sits in the Softer part of Mercian's current indoor response range. High fibreglass content supports touch and forgiveness, while the 5% carbon reinforcement adds structure without turning carbon percentage into the reason to choose the stick.Useful technology M-Gel vibration control: helps reduce vibration through the handle. Nano-polymer resin: strengthens the bond between composite layers. Lightweight indoor profile: supports quick handling in tight spaces. When another current option may suit betterIf 36.5" or 37.5" fits and you want to keep the Low-bend shape but prefer a slightly firmer Softer / Balanced response, compare the Genesis CF25i.If your skills genuinely benefit from the more aggressive Ultimate shape, compare the CKF75i and CKF90i instead. Those are different requirements, not upgrades and downgrades.SizesCurrent CF5i variants are available in 32", 34", 35", 36.5" and 37.5". Length is a fit and handling decision, not a player-level label.Still comparing?Understand Mercian stick bends Understand Power, Touch & Carbon Return to Guided Stick Choice
