LOD107 (Greek Mythology and Fantasy Skeletons)
Coming soon! Resin skeletons posted to engage in mythological and/or fantasy fights in antiquity or on the high seas with marauding pirates. With a genesis from the Myth of Cadmus, these warriors spring from the ground fully grown and armed. King Cadmus of Thebes had killed a sacred dragon that belonged to Ares. As such, Athena instructed Cadmus to sow the dragon's in the earth. This myth and story provided inspiration for the famous scene in 1963 classic film Jason and the Argonauts. Additional inspiration for me came from Lloyd Alexander's Chronicles of Prydain and the army of the Cauldron-Born. A great series that captured my attention over 45 years ago when I read them for the first time. Let your imagination flow with this new set of figures.
