Tongxin Teahouse Collection | Banxian · Limited Set of Five Hand-painted Porcelain Poetry & Plum Blossom Teacups诗文梅花五客杯.

Poetry rests on porcelain, and spring is held within teacups. Today, Tongxin Teahouse is delighted to introduce this limited set of five hand-painted blue-and-white porcelain teacups from Jingdezhen. Housed in one elegant box, this collection serves as an exquisite treasure for your tea space, meant for sipping, admiring and collecting. This set includes five individual tasting cups. Each cup measures 55mm in diameter and 35mm in height, with a full capacity of 35cc. The refined shape fits gently in your palm. Its volume is perfectly suited for rock tea, phoenix cong, white tea and many other fine teas, ideal for small sips to savour every layer of aroma. Crafted with traditional hand-painted blue-and-white technique, artisans brush the complete Song Dynasty poem Partridge Sky by Jiang Kui directly onto the raw porcelain body. The brushwork flows freely, with rich and subtle shades of cobalt blue. Plain white porcelain acts as paper while cobalt pigment serves as ink; the verses curve gracefully along the cup’s contour. Green cypresses and red peppers bring fresh new scenes. Lamp shadows beyond the fence greet celebrants. Bells ring from the mountain, dawn breaks by the west window. My poetic hair greets another spring, unbidden. Tired of receiving guests, I open my door slowly. Plum blossoms keep me company in my later years. My young child learns to write earthly characters, Not yet mastering the guardian gods of the door. The verses depict quiet seasonal joys and the tranquil charm of plum blossoms, giving this set its name: Poetry & Plum Blossom Teacups. There is no printed decal on these cups. Every stroke is hand-drawn by craftsmen. Slight variations in brush vitality exist among the five cups, carrying the unique warmth of handwork. No two handcrafted pieces are exactly identical. All five teacups rest neatly inside a refined gift box. When hosting friends at your tea table, you may share one cup with each guest. The five cups displayed together create a harmonious scene, letting everyone savour tea alongside the ancient poetry painted on porcelain. The calm blue-and-white glaze and timeless verses hold the quiet spirit of plum blossoms within each vessel. More than just drinking ware, they are a piece of oriental literary art to be slowly appreciated. Produced in limited quantities, this rare set is perfect for tea table arrangement, gatherings with tea lovers, and as an elegant collectible tea artifact.
