A most beautiful and interesting vintage pear cut Diamond solitaire engagement ring, all hand crafted in 1992 to celebrate an olden Victorian era Diamond. So, third time around for this lovely and plump antique Diamond; a darkly glinty fire unlike the modern laser cut Diamond, she has her own understated mood who she'll share with someone special... Likely originating from the South African mines in the mid 19th century, choosing vintage is now a positive choice for ethical reasons, as well as being one which is unique and has qualities never to be replicated as what she holds is history itself! The mount is of 18ct yellow Gold with Platinum to hold the gem, nicely rounded and smooth with a tapered band, the setting as simple as can be. Stones: natural antique hand cut Diamond. Measures at around 0.50ct judged in the setting. Metal: 18ct yellow Gold (hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office in 1992). Weighs 2.93 grams.
