ITO Wagami | Paper

ITO Wagami, Featherlight Paper Yarn Light, soft, and a little bit unusual, ITO Wagami is a very special yarn for holding together with other yarns. This untwisted linen-based paper yarn adds hardly any weight to your project, while giving your knitted fabric beautiful texture and a surprising amount of volume. The incredibly thin paper strip, only about 1 cm wide, is gently folded to create its distinctive look. I especially love using Wagami as a companion yarn when you want a project to stay light and airy, while still adding a little extra texture and character. It combines beautifully with other ITO yarns, such as ITO Gima 8.5, ITO Kinu, ITO Shio, ITO Niji, or ITO Tsuchi. But Wagami is also fascinating on its own, whether knitted single-stranded or held double or even with more strands. I recommend gentle hand washing.
