Tall Iron Candle Stand (for 14–17cm candles)

Handcrafted in Uchiko, Ehime, by blacksmith studio Jizai Koubou, this tall iron candle stand is designed for Omori Warosoku’s traditional Japanese candles (14 to 17 cm). Each stand is forged from a single rod of steel, heated to around 1000°C and shaped by hand using traditional techniques including hammering, flattening and hand bending. The result is a beautifully balanced form, with graceful curves that bring an unexpected softness to solid iron. Standing 15 cm high, its elevated form gives the candle a striking presence while allowing the gentle, flickering flame of a Japanese warosoku candle to become a feature in the room.
