Minus the Bear - Bands Like It When You Yell 'YAR' At Them - San Juan Sands Color Vinyl Record

Minus the Bear's Bands Like It When You Yell "YAR!" At Them arrives on vinyl for the first time, pressed on San Juan Sands colour vinyl and limited to 1,000 copies from Suicide Squeeze. It was remastered for vinyl by Bernie Grundman, with lacquers cut at 45 RPM.Before Highly Refined Pirates arrived, the Seattle band had built real anticipation on the strength of one 2001 EP, This Is What I Know About Being Gigantic. To keep that momentum going they made a short promotional sampler: two songs from the coming album, an instrumental interlude, an exclusive song and a demo, packaged in a cardboard slipcase and handed out at shows or dropped into mail orders. Its title was a wink at the album it was advertising. The sampler took on a life of its own and was reissued as a proper EP in 2004.A long-overdue vinyl debut for a fan favourite, and the perfect companion to Highly Refined Pirates on your shelf.Side A 1.
