The Revar Cine Rota-Tray and professional polarizers provide precise, repeatable control over reflections, glare, color saturation, and contrast directly in camera. Designed for professional matte boxes, the system combines high-quality optical glass with a durable geared tray that allows the polarizer to be rotated smoothly while remaining securely mounted. Often called a “Rota Pola,” the Rota-Tray holds a large, unmounted circular polarizer inside a standard rectangular filter tray. Its 138mm glass diameter provides broad image coverage for compatibility with many wide-angle lenses. Dual control wheels allow the filter to be adjusted quickly from either side of the camera, while integrated 0.8 MOD gears permit connection to a focus motor for remote rotation on cranes, jibs, gimbals, car rigs, and other configurations where the camera is difficult to reach. Revar Cine circular polarizers reduce reflections from glass, water, painted surfaces, and other nonmetallic materials. They can also deepen blue skies, improve color saturation, and increase apparent contrast without relying on post-production correction. The high-efficiency polarizing material and optical coatings are engineered for professional image quality, neutral color rendition, and dependable performance. The Rota-Tray is designed and manufactured in the USA using an anodized, aircraft-grade aluminum frame and durable polymer components. Versions are available for standard 4 × 5.65-inch and 6.6 × 6.6-inch matte-box systems. For matte boxes without a compatible rotating tray slot, select the standalone 138mm circular polarizer or another appropriate size. The Rota-Tray accepts compatible Revar Cine and Schneider unmounted circular polarizers. It is not compatible with Tiffen unmounted polarizers because the glass diameter differs.
