Mukwa, also known as Kiaat or Muninga, is a timber popular in South Africa for furniture making and turning. With strong grain lines similar to olive but lighter in colour, it can vary widely from a lighter golden brown, to a darker reddish or purplish brown. Colours tend to become more subdued with age. Pen will come in a velvet sleeve, securely packaged. If you prefer to have your pen in a carboard pen box, these can be purchased separately from our website.
