The Single Laid-Back Armchair has a relaxed slatted back, a generous seat and a broad live-edge head rail with its bark still on. A little rough around the edges. Firm where it matters. And considerably more interesting than anything flat-packed. The wide armrests give you somewhere solid to put your hands, your drink or your elbows while the reclined back does most of the work. Basically, you get comfortable and the chair takes it from there. Diagonal side bracing keeps everything reassuringly rigid. Because nobody wants unexpected movement once they’ve settled into position. Perfect for a garden corner, outside a cabin, beside a fire, with a morning coffee, evening drink or while watching somebody else bend over and do the gardening. Some of the larger and more gloriously awkward creations may need a little extra organising, particularly if you’re a long way from us, but we’ll sort that with you directly.
