Liquitex Matte Varnish

Protect your painting with a matte finish Prefer a non-glossy surface? Liquitex Matte Varnish adds a clear protective layer over dried acrylic paint while keeping surface reflections low. Matte appearance: Gives your artwork an even, non-glossy finish. Less glare: Reduces reflections from surrounding lights. Surface protection: Helps resist dirt and makes the finished surface more durable. How to use Allow your paint to dry completely - 72 hours to 2 weeks, depending on thickness. Stir gently; do not shake or add water. Apply 1–2 thin coats with a soft, flat brush. Wait at least 24 hours between coats, and avoid repeatedly brushing over the same area. If you need additional layers, build them with Gloss Varnish first, then finish with Matte Varnish. For glow artwork: Test a small patch over dried glow acrylic paint and check it in daylight and darkness before coating the whole piece. This is a permanent top coat.
