2026 Estate Rose

THE WINE Crafted from our estate-grown Shiraz, our salmon-pink Rose entices with a bouquet of candied berry fruits and a touch of spice. The palate is sweet fruited with a refreshing acidity – a perfect choice for an afternoon with good company. THE VINTAGE Vintage 2026 was a slow, protracted season — a cool, wet start followed by heat spikes and late rain, settling into ideal conditions through to a classic cool-night, warm-day autumn finish. Yields were down across the region, but fruit concentration and terroir expression are exceptional. Chardonnay shows vibrant purity and elegance; Pinot Noir shows deep flavour concentration with classic Yarra Valley character. The slow ripening has given the wines a strong balance of freshness and aging potential. VITICULTURE + WINEMAKING The Shiraz for this Rose were harvested in the early morning . Cold fruit was held in the press to allow some colour evolution in the juice. Gently pressed and cold settled, then racked into ferment utilizing barrels and stainless steel. A short maturation and stirring on lees, for added mouthfeel and richness. FOOD PAIRING Aged cheddar, crackers and bread and butter cucumber pickle.
