Silver Dragon Keycap Set

FBB Silver Dragon Keycap Set: Metallic PBT, 145 Keys, ANSI and ISO Scales, not plastic Most keycaps are a flat colour. The FBB Silver Dragon is not. Each cap is PBT finished with a metallic spray coat, so the surface catches light the way brushed silver does, shifting from cool white to gunmetal as you move around the desk. The dye-sublimated legends and dragon artwork are then set into that metallic layer, a two-stage process FBB calls a composite finish, which keeps the shine from swallowing the print. The result is a set that reads as armour rather than a keycap set: silver scales across the alphas, darker modifiers framing them, and a dragon motif where the eye lands. On a black or silver aluminium board, especially a magnetic switch gaming board with RGB bouncing off the case, it looks like it was machined rather than moulded. Metallic coat over PBTThe spray finish gives the lustre; the PBT underneath gives the weight and the dense, solid sound. You get the look of metal caps without the cold touch or the ping. Legends that stayDye-sub bonds the legends into the surface instead of printing on top, so the lettering and the dragon artwork hold up to daily use. Built for custom boardsStandard MX stems fit magnetic Hall effect switches and conventional mechanical switches alike, so the set moves with you from board to board. Q&A & Specifications Questions & Answers Will it fit my keyboard? Yes, if it uses MX-style stems, which includes magnetic switch boards. The 145 keys cover ANSI and ISO, including the ISO Enter and short left Shift, plus spares for common bottom-row variations. Will the metallic finish wear off? The coat is applied under the dye-sub stage and cured as part of the finish, so it is not a loose surface layer. Treat it as you would any painted cap: no abrasive cleaners. Are the legends shine-through? No. The caps are opaque, so RGB glows around the keys and reflects off the metallic surface rather than lighting the legends.
