Cirillo Single Vineyard Shiraz, Barossa Valley, South Australia 2024
The Cirillo family has farmed Barossa Valley vineyards for nine generations, and Marco Cirillo is recognized as a guardian of some of the world’s oldest Shiraz and Grenache vines, dating back to the mid-19th century. This Shiraz comes from 34 year old vines and balances Barossa richness with elegance and finesse. Superb value red wine. "The 2024 Shiraz Single Vineyard is a beautifully honest and seamless expression with blackberry, mulberry and a gentle touch of wood smoke. This is dry and medium-bodied, with a nice touch of oak in a fleshy package, while long, drying tannins define the finish. The 2024 is approachable but has plenty of staying power." — 94 Points, Vinous Varieties: 100% Shiraz Region: Barossa Valley, South Australia Volume: 750ml Alcohol: 14% ABV Farming Practice: Sustainable viticulture; old-vine plantings, hand-harvested fruit, minimal intervention in the cellar.
