Perfect Cornbread Recipe 1 bag Cornbread Mix 1 Packet dried jalapeños 2 1/4 cups buttermilk or milk 3 eggs 1/4 cup melted butter or vegetable oil 1 teaspoon sugar (optional) Preheat oven to 375º F. In a medium bowl, combine cornbread mix, dried jalapeños, milk, eggs, butter or oil, and sugar (optional). Stir to mix. Pour into well greased preheated iron skillet or 9”x13” pan and place in oven. Bake 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown. Our favorite tip: Add sliced fresh or pickled Jalapeño Peppers to top before baking.
