From Order to Chaos (or the other way around)

Ink & Charcoal on OSB Board 32" × 48" (81 × 122 cm) Framed In From Order to Chaos (or the other way around), Gonzalo Pizarro works directly with the natural structure of OSB, using ink and charcoal to build the composition from within the surface. The image develops through a balance of control and response, where the material guides how areas are defined or left open. This work stands apart within his practice, focusing more directly on pattern and structure. The composition moves between density and space, with darker sections creating depth while lighter areas allow the surface to remain visible.
