Paradise Sculpture 2026
Part of the ongoing Paradise (is female?) series, this papier-mâché sculpture explores ideas of abundance, interconnectedness, and our relationship with the natural world. Built from reclaimed materials and transformed by hand, the work combines playful forms with organic references that may evoke seeds, fruits, bodies, landscapes, or entirely imagined life forms. Rather than offering a fixed narrative, the sculpture invites viewers to create their own associations. Like the series it belongs to, Paradise does not attempt to define what paradise is. Instead, it asks whether paradise might be found in curiosity, diversity, care, and our awareness of being part of something larger than ourselves.
