Bergamot essential oil blend is the one we use in our Shampoo Concentrate. Bright, fresh bergamot is balanced with sweet vanilla-like benzoin. Add the simple, natural scent to your favourite unfragranced products or diffuse throughout your home to lift the spirits. Our essential oil blends are crafted by Hairy Jayne who loves using essential oils to fragrance her hair care range. (The other Hairy Jayne essential oil blends can be found here). Suggestions for use To add fragrance to a room: add a few drops to an essential oil burner to add fragrance and aromatherapy to the room. For diffusion that's flame-free, use a reed diffuser. In DIY beauty potions: essential oils must always be diluted before using on the skin or in the hair. Add 2 drops for every 10ml/g of your chosen carrier oil, shampoo or cream base. DIY perfume: dilute in perfumers alcohol to make a spray, or into a carrier oil or add to melted wax mixed with a carrier oil to make a solid perfume. For massage: dilute 5 drops for every 10ml of carrier oil (olive oil, for example) and massage into skin. When bathing: 6-10 drops of essential oil blend can be added to your bath, the warm water will help to throw the scent. What's in it? Bergamot essential oil, Benzoin essential oil.
