Pettiagalla Estate
Ceylon black tea from the Ruhuna Region of Sri Lanka, in the sub-district of Balangoda. Factory Elevation is around 1200 feet above sea level. This estate produces "Low Grown" tea that is strong in taste and bright brown cup color suitable for milk. This OP Grade comprises of long wiry well twisted leaves giving out it's vibrant color and character in 5 - 6 minute brewing time. The infused leaf is coppery and reveals good oxidization from tender leaves harvested at the right time. Recommended water temperature is 200 F. For best results use spring water.
