Studio-made bulbous ceramic vase with narrow neck by Albert Kiessling. Executed in Kiessling’s distinctive ivory “snakeskin” crackle glaze over a warm brown ground. Hand-thrown form with finely textured surface and expressive network craquelure characteristic of the artist’s East German studio production. An authentic, marked original, circa 1960s.
