Love - Green No.2

The Green Paintings explore how the pigments interact with the concept of the Green Space of Feelings. The dimensions of the paintings mirror those of the book, creating a direct connection between the visual and the written. Before the painting process begins, quotations from the Green Book – Ode to Love are added to the canvas, grounding the work in themes of love and understanding. As the painting takes shape, the words are eventually hidden, leaving the space open for new interpretations of each painting as a Green Space in its own right.
