Pistachio Pink Peppercorn

At one of the small neighborhood food markets in Lisbon, I came across a chocolate bar topped with whole pistachios, pink peppercorns, and a sprinkling of salt. I loved the flavor combination! I immediately made my own version when I got home, featuring Baies Rose pink peppercorns from Madagascar. Although they look like peppercorns, they’re actually dried berries with a fruity, floral, and peppery taste. Paired with whole pistachios and a touch of Himalayan salt, the result is a chocolate bar that surprises and delights the senses.
