A loose mesh will not perform correctly. Remove the existing mesh from the barrel. Place the replacement mesh over the barrel, ensuring one side is aligned flush with the outer edge. Fit the first retaining clip over the mesh and tighten it fully to secure the mesh in place. Fit the second retaining clip on the opposite side, tightening it just enough to hold the mesh while leaving some excess material available for tensioning. Grip the excess mesh and pull firmly to create maximum tension across the entire barrel surface. While maintaining tension, fully tighten the second retaining clip. Inspect the mesh to ensure it is evenly stretched, free from sagging or wrinkles, and securely fastened before use. Tip: A correctly installed mesh should feel tight and even across the barrel, with no visible slack.
