Martin Miller's - 9 Moons Special Cask Reserve Gin

Martin Miller's first cask-aged gin, 9 Moons is matured for nine months in American oak bourbon barrels. Oak adds a slight vanilla sweetness to 9 Moons, that in turn enhances and amplifies the gin botanicals that lie behind the essential huniper. Citrus notes and some light oak on the finish. The gin in 9 Moons comes from new American oak bourbon barrels. They have been filled with high strength Martin Miller’s Gin then aged for nine months, or nine moons, in our barrel store in Borgarnes, Iceland. Around 2,000 bottles, each individually numbered, have been drawn from each cask, then blended at source to an optimum bottling strength of 40% with Icelandic Spring water.
