The Art (& Heart) of Letter Writing 08/22

**IN-STORE WORKSHOP** Saturday, August 22, 2026 from 11am to 1pm with Michelle Grajeda Dear Lovers of Snail Mail and Written Correspondence, Join us for our very first workshop devoted to the practice and art of letter writing. We, too, have been yearning, perhaps more than ever, to create connections through messages that must be slowly and deliberately composed, folded, tucked, sealed, addressed, stamped, and sent with care. We will briefly discuss the origins of letter writing, as well as some of the most remarkable exchanges uncovered to date. Additionally, we will delve into the brass tacks of composing a meaningful missive, including salutations, valedictions, and choosing your tools of the trade. As always, we will provide all materials, including goodies to make your message an aesthetic work of art as well. Warmly, Michelle PS... we'll learn about the PS too! Workshop includes: Writing tools Materials for hands-on activities Class-appropriate handouts with prompts and resources 10% off in-store purchases the day of the event This class is for all those 16 and over who wish to continue or cultivate a personal practice of writing – no experience required. Each workshop is hosted in the Belle & Union San Antonio shop and studio, unless otherwise noted. Space is limited for each workshop, and seats are sold on a first come, first served basis. All workshop sales are final and non-refundable. While we love your littles, please note our workshop space is limited and only for ticketed participants.
